The Leela is one of the finest Beach Resorts in Goa and ranked as almost number one in terms of overall holiday and luxurious experience. In the initial years, Leela would shy out taking up any Weddings unless a chunk of overall Room Inventory is taken up because giving the other residential guests an utmost peace and privacy was the major concern.
Recently, with the changes in the venues offered and the way logistics work the policies have been modified to accommodate wedding for even a small residential group or a large non residential group. Though its evident that in such cases you would have a limited access to venues and the facilities within Resort.
Here is the known “The Leela Lawns” which is located towards the coastal line and overlooks the sea (though its little far off), the official website or any other source on internet would not point out that its just a part of overall lawns which is earmarked to hold private events. The Leela Lawns is fit for a gathering upto 500-600 guests, you would really need to occupy the complete lawn.
The Lawn is offered at a venue hire charges. Important to note that banqueting rates for food and drinks is one of the costliest at Leela Goa in comparison to other top line 5* Resorts. However the overall experience and services does matter.

Outdoor – The Leela Lawn, Coconut grove, Riverside Lawns, Aparanta Lawn
Coconut Grove is part of Leela Lawns only, see the thick Coconut Trees towards back of Leela Lawns. Its a good area to setup the Manda/Gazebo as it gives out partial Sea View and natural shade.
Indoor – Aparanta Ballroom, Hampi Room

Beach at The Leela, no private events allowed
Pictures are taken in monsoon period and normally the beach side and the lawns are very well maintained.
The Leela also offers a Ballroom called “Apranta Ballroom” which is the only Indoor venue offered to a gathering upto 250 pax in sit down style. There is another small Hall called “Hampi” which can not take up more than 100 pax sit down style, its fit for smaller low key events.
